The first Latinamerican Workshop on Optimization and Control will take place in Quito, Ecuador, from the 7 to the 9 of July 2008. The event will host leading latinamerican researchers in the areas of optimization and control. Invited talks from outstanding international scientists and contributing presentations will be held.
One aim of the workshop is to present latinamerican scientific contributions to these areas of knowledge and enhance the scientific collaboration among the participants.
